Known for her talent for bringing people together, Laurie is a lifelong entertainer and canasta enthusiast who also cherishes reading J.D. Robb mysteries and researching online. Recently widowed after 58 wonderful years of marriage, Laurie continues to inspire with her resilience and dedication to her family, including her three children, of whom Samara Beth is the youngest. Laurie shares a love of collaging photos and cozy Hallmark movie marathons with her daughter and granddaughter.

Ava, a vibrant and creative 14-year-old, brings youthful energy to this trio. A freshman in high school, she excels on the swim team and in choir, enjoys baking, scuba diving, and finds joy in reading young adult fiction. Ava fondly remembers playing canasta with her Bubbye and Poppy, cherishing those family moments as part of her journey into young adulthood. She and her mom share a special bond, often likened to their favorite show, Gilmore Girls, which they love watching together.
